Multi-layer fixture system
Some days ago we described how we designed the bed to fulfil all the requirements. In this way we built all the components of the bed in order to test if the complete system works with the different tools and finally it looks like this:

The down layer is the aluminium fixture bed. Its mission is to provide precision holes to insert the fixture pins. The second layer is the plywood sacrifice board. As its name indicates is useful to protect the fixture bed when drilling. The third layer is the glass. The mission of the glass is double: it protects the dry-film from laser tool over-exposure but it is also the 3D printing surface. It has glued a piece of solar film on the down side where we cut some windows to glue four focus-point pieces. These pieces are made of PCB board and also have one hole to host the fixture pins which hold down the glass on the alu. fixture.
In the middle of the "sandwich" you can see the PCB and the four pins which hold it down.
