Our RepRap with a laser "hot-end"
We installed the PHR803-T in the RepRap to do the first feasibility testing
The first prototype was perfect but it never worked...
So happens... We designed the printer with the X-axis belt in one side and the X-carriage never slided smoothly.
Some printed parts of the first prototype
We were a litle "unfocused"..testing different designing aproaches
Finally we move the X-axis belt to the printer center
X-axis slides smoothly if the motor push it from it's center.
The RepRap while printing DiyouPCB
We used it to print all DiyouPCB plastic parts.
Another printer view with the X-motor at the center
We laid the X-motor facing down to install the X-belt under the alu plate
The first printer prototype with printing bed and glass
It's starting to look like a printer....or a scanner.
First impressions...
were not very impressive. At the beginning all printings were blurry and the shapes deformed.
More testing
We tested different laser power and speed levels till we found the appropiates.
A blurry PCB
The firsts PCB testing, we were disappointed.
